This service is a non-invasive, facial treatment that exfoliates your skin and removes vellus hair, better known as peach fuzz, to reveal smooth, glowing skin. With dermaplaning, a trained aesthetician uses a medical grade blade/scalpel, to exfoliate the dead skin cells and surface layer of skin. This treatment is a painless treatment that is one up from a traditional facial, leaving your skin smoother and brighter in appearance. It also allows for better and deeper absorption of quality skincare products, improves texture and evens skin tone. Over time it may soften fine lines and improve hyperpigmentation. It will not make your hair grow back darker or thicker; this is a myth.

Red Light Therapy $35
Add-On for Enzyme, Facial, or Dermaplaning Treatments
Red light therapy uses low levels of red and infrared light to target your skin and cells. It’s often used to treat signs of aging and sun damage. Red light therapy is non-invasive and it delivers enough energy to stimulate a response from the body within cell function to promote healing and stimulates collagen production, which helps improve skin elasticity. It helps improve skin health, optimizes sleep, and alleviates muscle and joint pain.
Skin absorbs the infrared and red light to transform it into energy -increasing production of mitochondria, your cells’ energy sources – to stimulate healing by improving cell function and repair, through cellular regeneration. According to biologists, they established that cells exposed to near-infrared light from LEDs grow 150-200% faster than cells not stimulated by such light.

Sonophoresis and Iontophresis $35
Add-On for Enzyme, Facial, or Dermaplaning Treatments
Sonophoresis and iontophoresis are both techniques that use physical means to deliver substances through the skin:
Sonophoresis: Uses ultrasound to enhance the delivery of molecules through the skin by creating a massaging effect to increase dermal permeability, stimulate blood flow, and reduce inflammation.
Iontophoresis: Uses a gentle electrical current to deliver ions and some molecules through the skin. It is used to deliver vitamins A and C to the skin, promote collagen production, reduce wrinkles, and address sun damage.
Environ’s low frequency sonophresis and iontophresis is intended to disrupt the stratum corneum (skin surface barrier) to temporarily improve the penetration of skincare for application.
