-Use sunscreen daily, and make sure to reapply every 2 hrs if significantly exposed to UV rays or out swimming. Using sunscreen prevents oxidative stress on our skin, prevents extrinsic aging, reduces risk of skin cancer (see previous posts on those topics)
-Keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
-Hot summer climate and excessive sweating can reduce our body’s water levels
-Use a lip balm with an SPF, like the TIZO lip balm
-If there is a difference in colour from your body versus your face (protecting your skin more on your face with sunscreen) use a bronzer or a self tanner face spray to help camouflage/match the colour with the rest of your skin, such as the St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Face Mist.
-Use products with antioxidant ingredients (vitamin C, vitamin E, niacinamide), such as Environ Skin EssentiA Vita-Antioxidant AVST moisturizers or TIZO sunscreens, that help prevent oxidative stress and damage from UV exposure and environmental pollution
