Environ Retinol 1 serum is the first step of the Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™ of retinol serums which has been formulated with high concentrations of vitamin A. They are designed to help normalize the appearance of skin abnormalities and damage, and in promoting healthy-looking skin eventually creating skin that looks truly reborn beautiful.

How to Use:
1. Pre-cleanse, cleanse and tone with your preferred Environ products.
2. Introduce Retinol by adding one drop to your recommended Environ vitamin A moisturizer every evening.
3. Gradually increase the amount of Retinol while ensuring that your skin remains comfortable.
4. Use 2-4 bottles before progressing to the next step of Retinol.
5. Alternatively, apply Retinol to the entire face area or to the areas you would like to target before moisturizing with your recommended Environ vitamin A moisturizer.
Note: The skin may feel uncomfortable when first starting to use a retinol serum and can intensify with the increase in frequency of the serum. If an irritation (dry, red, or excessive flaking) should occur, we recommend that the frequency of application be reduced – every second day, every third or fourth day until the skin becomes comfortable. Key to starting retinol is to go slow – once a week to gradually working up to twice a week being spaced out.
CAUTION: Do not use if you are pregnant, lactating or planning to become pregnant. If you are pregnant or breast feeding, please check with your physician before using any products containing retinol, salicylic acid or hydroquinone. When using retinol, it is especially important to use a broad spectrum sunscreen daily and limit sun exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- Vitamin A (Retinol, Retinyl acetate, Retinyl palmitate): Normalizes all cellular and skin functions.
Colostrum: Regenerates the skin, slows skin aging, strengthens immunity. - Vitamin C (Magnesium Ascorbyl phosphate): powerful antioxidant, stimulates the production of Collagen and Elastin, strengthens the capillaries, lightens the pigment.
